I've got an apartment being featured in 25 etc this November.... you don't get paid! My little monochrome flat was done on a really tight budget, Ikea kitchen and stickers, basic white paint, inexpensive furniture.... it can be done. I remain gob-smacked they have featured it!

Both my wife & I are both chefs; therefore offal is a big deal in my family & helps us to feed our 3 kids on a budget. if you dig that stuff you might get a kick out of this. I made it last night & it fed the 5 of us and there is still half left and all for well under 20 bucks.

Even though I hate the "foodie" tag, most chefs really enjoy eating this stuff without any elitism; also both my wife & I (& therefore our kids) seek out weird cuts & organ meats because we find them tasty.

I honestly prefer oxtail to steak & half of a lamb's head to a chop, but that's just my tastes. Frankly I hope offal never gets too popular otherwise it would be much more expensive for me to keep my family fed.

I'm a huge F&B fan. True, it is expensive but it goes a long way--the pigment is just more pure and fine, more so than cheap and dull Dulux. F&B is worth every penny because visitors will ooh and ahh falling in love with the mood you've created and you'll catch glimpses of 'your walls' constantly and feel wonderful!!!

I've seen her TV work and I think she "pales" in comparison to a real Nutritionist from the U.S. Dr. Ro. I like Dr. Ro best for her calm demeanor and her "I'm your friend who just happens to know some stuff" presentation. I've looked up her credentials too and she actually has a Ph.D. in nutrition and looks the part.

Vintage dress sizes are not comparable to modern dress sizes...a sort of Darwinian/Marketing phenomenon. Modern dress sizes vary from shop to shop anyway, usually the cheaper the label the more generous they are with their sizing. I think Scarlett Johanssen has MM dimensions and is drop dead gorgeous too.

I watch Gillian's show on BBC America, and well..I do think she's overboard. She deals with obese people who would probably see drastic results without quite resorting to all those obscure, weird foods that are hard to even find.

Anyone living on fried foods who suddenly drops them in favor of low fat, high fiber stuff is going to lose weight and probably have healthier skin, etc..doesn't take a genius or a Nazi-esque regime like she insists.

She does seem pretty obsessive and angry..I suppose to inspire commitment on the part of her subjects, but..is that the best approach? I don't know. She takes it too far and resorts to insults and humiliation to get her point across.

It's like she gets personally offended whenever someone eats a cookie. Kind of extreme.

It's nice to see the amazing results at the end, but who is really going to live on mung beans and the other disgusting things for the long term? Why not gear it around healthy foods the person actually likes so that it can be an actual lifestyle change?

And what is her obsession with poo? That's just weird.

All that said, I say eat healthy and exercise most of the time, and have a piece of cake or some fried items here and there if you want them. Moderation, not psychotic fixation.

GET IT! That is a great price, and for a mere $20 you can take it to an alterations specialist at a dry cleaner and have it hemmed to your height.

Too many people don't buy clothes that can be easily altered.
